[dvd::rip] A/V sync issues

Subject: [dvd::rip] A/V sync issues

Hi, I am fairly new to the DVD::rip program. I have tinkered with it for a while, and most movies are ripping properly. But, I have a Polaroid DVD recorder, that has a harddrive. To get the movies to my computer I need to burn the movie to DVD, and then rip it to the computer. But I am getting A/V sync problems, like a whole minutes or two offset. Yes its NTSC, and I need to deinterlace. I have tried using the PSU core. I am going to try again after I leave this message. I believe that the Polaroid's audio is mpeg1 and due to not being able to just pass it through, there is a offset. I don't know how to correct this. I have just started reading the mailing list's archives. I did not see anything yet that would help me. I guess I should search transcode's help documentation.....
